Genevieve "Jenny" A. (Narkievich) Robbio

Genevieve A. “Jenny” (Narkievich) Robbio, 101, of Cranston, passed away peacefully with her family at her side Sunday afternoon, June 30, 2024 at Kent Regency Center.  She was the wife of the late Albert Robbio.

Born Feb. 12, 1923, in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Ogoza) Narkievich.  She owned and operated Jenny’s Beauty Parlor, on Cranston St., Providence for many years before retiring.

She leaves her three children, Genevieve “Jean” Lanni, Louis F. (Kathryn) Robbio, and Joann S. (Paul) Cardullo; three grandchildren, Salvatore Caparelli, Jennifer Burns, and Dawn Cardullo; six great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.

She was the grandmother of the late Jeanmarie Keltz, and the sister of the late Joseph, Henry and Stanley Narkievich, Helen Vermette, Louise Williams, Pauline Auteiri, Stella Mezzancello, and Marion Southwick.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Friday, July 5, from 8am until 9am in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are greatly appreciated to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
