Frances "Sally" (Minalgo) Gentile

Frances Sally Gentile (Minalgo) RN, 88 of Cranston, passed away on July 5, 2021, at the Philip Hulitar inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Raymond A. Gentile (CFD). Born in Providence daughter of the late Casper and Vincenta Minalgo.

Mrs.Gentile was a registered nurse for over 40 years at Rhode Island Hospital and Jane Brown Hospital. She was a Graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, Providence, and stayed active on the alumni board. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church.

She is survived by her beloved children, Gary R. Gentile and his wife Lucille, Paul Gentile and his wife Carmen, David H. Gentile, Susan Avedissian and Amey Gentile Cardullo Esq. and her husband Shaun E. Stanley.

Loving grandmother of Amanda and Nathan Avedissian, Alison Gentile, Benjamin Gentile, Joseph Cardullo, and Shaun R. Stanley. Loving great-grandmother of twins “Cori and Dani”. Frances was predeceased by 7 siblings.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 9 at 8:45 AM from “Woodlawn Funeral Home”, 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 4-7 PM.
