Eve Panagos, 91, passed away peacefully at Advinia Care in Woonsocket on Monday May 25, 2026. Born in Krini, Greece she was the daughter of the late Vasilios and Stella (Grafakos) Vavoulis.
Eve is survived by her sons, George Stamatakos and wife Kimberly, and Andrew Panagos. She was the proud and loving grandmother of Adam and Noah Stamatakos, Eliana and Olivia Panagos and great-grandmother of Owen and Henry Stamatakos.
She is also survived by her brother Harouli “Laki” Vavoulous and was the sister of the late Panayoti “Taki” Vavoulous, Nickoloas “Nico” Vavoulous and Zacharoula Agakos.
Eve was a talented men’s tailor and was the proud owner of the former Elmgrove Tailors in Providence. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed cooking with her family, especially teaching her grandchildren favorite Greek recipes.
