Eileen Cullen Wallace was born November 27, 1950 to the late Ann Lynn Cullen and Peter Cullen.
She graduated from St. Xavier Academy and From St. Joseph School of Nursing. She also graduated from Roger Williams University. She worked at Butler Hospital and was Director of Admissions at Fuller Memorial Hospital. She also worked at The Providence Center.
In 1993, she married the late George Wallace and they lived in Cumberland for twenty-seven years. They also spent winters in their home in The Villages Florida. George passed away in 2020. Shortly thereafter, Eileen experienced a physical decline and resided in assisted living at Victoria Court and then Steer House. She passed July 2, 2025 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice, Providence. Her family thanks the staffs for their compassionate care.
She is survived by her cousins, Sally A. McAuley, Paul J. McAuley and Carol Raposo. Eileen also leaves her beloved stepdaughter, Christine Wallace Goldstein.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 9, from 8:15am until 9:15am in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial is private.
