Edward J. Toohey, 80, of Cranston, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Eva (Hryciew) Toohey.
Born in Providence, he was the cherished son of Michael E. Toohey and Helen (Craig) Toohey.
Edward proudly served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Brown and Sharpe after many years of dedicated employment.
In addition to his wife of 57 years, he leaves two daughters, Kymberly K. Issler (her husband, the late Howard) and Erica Toohey Grenga (her husband, Mark); and two devoted grandsons, Edward and Kristopher Issler. He was the brother of the late Helen Russo.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, March 26, from 4pm until 7pm in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
