Edward F. Caliri, 65, of Cranston, passed away Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. Born Jan. 23, 1959, in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Marie (Sacchetti) Caliri.
Undoubtedly, Ed's greatest prides were his daughter, his job at Taco Comfort Solutions, and his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycle. Over four decades, he dedicated himself to his work, with coworkers who became like family. Beyond work, he sought adventure on his Harley Davidson, often alongside his brother Bill. Ed cherished the bond he shared with his daughter, during their Disney trips, where they created lasting memories. He found joy at Twin River and Mohegan Sun Casino, where his laughter lit up the room, and at Twin Oaks Restaurant, where he shared countless meals and memories with loved ones.
He leaves his daughter, Shannon Caliri; his siblings, Laura (Caliri) Vecchiarelli and her husband Anthony, William Caliri and his wife Angela; his nieces, Rachel Caliri-Ellis and Ashley Vingi; and his nephew, John Vingi.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Saturday, Mar. 2, from 8:30am until 10am at the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Mark’s Church, Garden Court, Cranston. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation are greatly appreciated to HopeHealth Hospice, 1085 No. Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
