Edith (Conti) DiMaio

Edith (Conti) DiMaio, 91, of Cranston, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, March 27, 2024. She was the wife of the late Pasquale V. DiMaio.

Born in Cranston, July 1, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Celia (Ricci) Conti.

Edith was a hairdresser for 60 years. After graduating from hairdressing school she worked at the former Helene’s Beauty Salon, Park Ave., Cranston, before operating her own salon in her home.

She leaves her sons and daughters-in-law, John V. and Joan M. DiMaio and David C. and Lianne DiMaio; her grandchildren, Michael J., Kristina M. and Morgan E. DiMaio; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas R. and Emma Katherine DiMaio. She was the sister of the late Josephine Iafrate and Salvatore Conti.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Apostles Church, Cranston, Tuesday, April 2, at 10am. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation is omitted.
