Douglas Cairns Obituary

Douglas James Cairns, 69, of Linden Ave., Cranston, beloved husband of Brenda Lee (Lamboy) Cairns, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 2, 2022 at home.

Born Aug. 21, 1952, in Weymouth, MA, he was a son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Hammond) Cairns.

He proudly served with the US Army. Afterward, he joined the US Postal Service where he retired in 2002 as a supervisor after 30 years of service.

In addition to his wife of 21 years, he leaves his daughter Carrie Cairns; his son Jefferson Lomboy; his brother, Joseph Cairns of Coventry; and 4 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours, Saturday, January 8, from 4pm to 7pm in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston.
