Doris T. (Pilon) O'Malley

Doris T. (Pilon) O’Malley, 88, of Cranston, RI passed peacefully on May 13, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Austin J. O’Malley Jr. for 66 years. She was a daughter of the late Blanche (Gaboriault) and Albert Pilon.

Born in Central Falls,  Doris attended St. Jean Baptiste Academy in Pawtucket and still kept in touch with friends from her childhood.   She was extremely proud of her large family of 8 children, spoke French, and loved to sing and draw. Doris loved cooking and continued to prepare fantastic meals her whole life. She always welcomed the friends of her children to try her latest recipes and treated everyone like family.  

Doris is survived by her sons Stephen O’Malley, Brian O’Malley, Austin O’Malley III, and John O’Malley; her daughters Lois Bradshaw, Karen O’Malley, Maureen Cesario, and Laurel O’Malley; her sisters Janice Pilon and Rita Trainor; her grandchildren Brian O’Malley Jr., Joseph Bradshaw Jr., James O’Malley, Glen Bradshaw, Christopher Cesario, Kerri Bradshaw, Ryan Cesario, Austin O’Malley IV, Karissa Varin, and David Varin; her great-grandson, Joseph F. Bradshaw III; her daughter-in-law Lynn O’Malley; and her sons-in-law Louis Cesario and Joseph Bradshaw.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, May 18 at 12 Noon at Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
