Donna M. (Luzzi) Taylor 64 of Cranston passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Leonard F. Luzzi and the late Rosamond (Olean) Luzzi.
Donna was the loving mother of Jenna L. Tatari of Cranston. Besides her daughter, Donna is survived by her significant other Richard Valfredo of Cranston; her brother Leonard J. Luzzi, of North Kingstown; her Nephew Adam Luzzi of West Warwick, her “Couzy” Teresa Maglione-Marcella of Cranston, as well as many other family members and friends.
Donna was a dedicated Registered Nurse for over 40 years. Up until her passing she was employed with Pinnacle Home Healthcare. Donna earned her bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College, her nursing degree from Salve Regina University, and her masters degree from Providence College.
Donna loved to spend her time going to Foxwoods bingo as well as traveling to tropical destinations. Donna was an avid dog lover leaving behind her 3 dogs, Yogi, Lexi, and Codie.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation, Monday, July 1, from 8:45 am until 10:15 am in the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mark's Church, Cranston. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
