Donna (Capobianco) Varone, 72, of Cranston, passed away peacefully Friday, June 13, 2025 at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasqualino “Uncle Pat” Varone.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank L. and Delia (Caruso) Capobianco.
Donna loved being with her family and supporting them every opportunity she could. Bingo, visiting casinos, eating out, Frankie Valli, and her soap operas always brought her great joy.
She is survived by her best buddy, Bubba James; her brothers, Frank L. (Elaine) Capobianco, Jr., Anthony A. Capobianco, and Robert M. Capobianco; her sister, Joanne Calcione; her sister-in-law, Sheila “Auntie She She” Capobianco; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Raymond Palumbo, Albert J. Capobianco, Louise Sarli and Frances Madancy.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation, Thursday, June 19, from 4pm until 7pm in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston. Her funeral will begin at 10am, Friday, June 20, from the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston with burial following at St. Ann Cemetery.
