Dolly Baaklini, 53, of Portsmouth, RI passed away peacefully in the early hours of June 8, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Michael Baaklini, MD.
Born October 13, 1970, in Lebanon, she was the daughter of Keirouz Keirouz and the late Hoda Keirouz.
Dolly left her beloved Lebanon when she was just 14 years old and began her new life in Warwick, RI. She graduated from Tollgate High School and later went on to receive a degree in Medical Assistant and Coding at CCRI. Dolly was a vibrant young mother dedicated to raising her boys who were the loves of her life. Dolly touched the lives of so many with her infectious energy and kind spirit. She always radiated positivity and laughter wherever she went, and leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of her family and friends.
As hard as she worked, she equally loved to travel all over the world. Whether it was gathering for festive celebrations, sharing meals filled with laughter and stories, or simply enjoying each other's company, these moments were treasured by Dolly and her family alike. In recent years, Dolly found immeasurable joy and fulfillment in the arrival of her grandchildren.
Dolly leaves behind her husband, whose medical practice she ran and managed. She was adored by their patients and was the recipient of multiple awards from United Health and Blue Cross for her impeccable patient care and work.
She is survived by her husband Michael and her father, Keirouz; her four siblings- Lolita Sidaoui and spouse Dr. Fouad, Tony Keirouz and spouse Susan, Mireille Sayaf and spouse Ghassan, and Joseph Keirouz and spouse Ximena; three children: Justin Maccarone and spouse Lacy, Steven Maccarone and spouse Katelyn, and Anthony Maccarone; her three step-children- Dr. Alexander, Natasha and Andrew Baaklini; her five grandchildren-Layla, Alayna, Justice, Elias, and Luna Maccarone; her nieces and nephews- Dr. Alexander Sidaoui and Dr. Yvonne Komari, John and Noah Keirouz, Dr. Stephanie and Gabrielle Sayaf, and Nicholas Keirouz as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
All are invited to her visitation on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 9am until 11am at the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, RI followed by the Divine Liturgy at 12pm at St. George Maronite Church, 1493 Cranston St., Cranston, RI. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery.
