Delores Cynthia (DiChiara) McManus

Delores McManus, 78, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, at Briarcliff Manor. She was the devoted wife of Henry F. “Bud” McManus.

Born in Providence to Joseph and Delores (Vitulli) DiChiara, Delores dedicated her life to nurturing others, both as a teacher’s assistant in Coventry Public Schools and as the heart of her family.

Her greatest joy was her family, whom she cherished deeply. Delores created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, her son Michael H. McManus and his wife Olivia, her daughter Tracey J. Wendoloski and her husband Mark, her grandchildren Robert, Leena, Lia, Isabella, Logan, and Ava, and her sister Carol Pietrzyk. Her legacy lives on in the kindness and strength she instilled in each of them.

Family and friends are invited to honor Delores’s life at a visitation on Wednesday, December 17, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to APDA Rhode Island (PO BOX 114098, North Providence, RI 02911) to support Parkinson’s Disease research or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105) are appreciated.
