David J. Canzonieri

David J. Canzonieri, 70, of Johnston passed away August 17, 2025 at home in Johnston. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Margaret (Mansour) Canzonieri.

David graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island and was a mechanic. He was a caring, thoughtful fun loving “good guy”… outgoing, convivial, engaging person who connected with people. David loved animals and deeply missed his dog Andy who recently passed.

He was the brother of Ronald J. Canzonieri, uncle of Christopher Canzonieri, Jennifer Maechler and John Canzonieri. David is also survived by his dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday August 21st from 12- 1pm  at “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston with his Funeral Service beginning at 1 pm in “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home.
