Christopher Robert White

Christopher R. White, 38, of Cranston, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 9, 2025. Born in Boston, MA, he was a son of Rochelle (Masse) White and the late Lester F. White.

Chris was generous and loving, with a unique sense of humor. He knew many people but kept a close group of friends who truly knew him. Those few meant a lot to him, and he meant a great deal to them.

He was intelligent and dedicated to his work supporting the Coast Guard as an IT specialist at KVH Industries. He loved video games, collected horror movies, and—like his late father—had a habit of buying random shiny things. He also enjoyed being in the kitchen and loved trying new recipes.

Chris had many plans for the future and was just beginning to build and grow into his adult life. We were all proud of him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

In addition to his mother, he leaves his sisters, Nicole White and Danielle White. 

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, July 18 from 4pm until 6pm in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston.
