Cheryl Ann (Bailey) Aubin, 67, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at Roger Williams Hospital, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, December 11, 2025, after a courageous, though brief, battle with leukemia.
Born February 17, 1958, in Providence, Cheryl was the daughter of the late Maurice F. Bailey and Angela L. Caldarone.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Gerald Aubin; her siblings, Steven Bailey (Suzanne) of Exeter and Lisa Bailey (Melodie Mathews) of Coventry; her cherished daughters, Kerri Vincent (Randy) of Warwick and Gina Silva Floody (Jason) of Warwick; and her adored grandchildren, Ryan and Rory Vincent, Giavanna Calenda, and Jace and Mya Floody.
Cheryl often said her greatest accomplishments were her daughters, who considered her their best friend. Her greatest joy came from time spent with family. Her dogs were her world, and frequent vacations to the Azores were an essential part of who she was. Cheryl leaves behind a legacy of fierce love and deep empathy—she was everyone’s phone call.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 17, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston.
The family would like to thank the staff at Roger Williams Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are greatly appreciated to the RISPCA, 155 Plan Way, Warwick, RI 02886.
