Charlotte B. (Brooks) Davey

Charlotte (Brooks) Davey, 88, formerly of Garden City Dr., Cranston, passed away July 22, 2022. She was the wife of the late Alfred J. Davey.

Born in Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Roger Nichols Brooks and Ida (Straight) Brooks.

Charlotte had a great sense of humor and was happiest when she was surrounded by her family…her family was her entire world. She loved spending summers at the family beach house at Matunuck beach, singing in the local choir and reading.

She leaves three daughters, Carolyn Bianco, Barbara Silva and Sharon Swanson; and her five grandchildren, Katie Silva, Kristina Bianco, Joseph Bianco Jr., Jennifer Swanson and Christopher Swanson. She was the sister of the late Virginia Wallace.

Her funeral will begin Tuesday, July 26, at 9am from the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mark’s Church, 1 Garden Court, Cranston. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday, from 4pm until 7pm in the funeral home.
