Obituary

Carol (Cerce) Piti, 74, of Warwick, passed away at home, Thursday, May 4, 2023. She was the wife of the late Joseph Piti Jr.

Born March 22, 1949, in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Cerce.

She retired from the State of Rhode Island.  In addition, was a devoted mother and raised two children.  Her hobbies were gambling at the casino, watching soap operas, playing cards with her friends and taking care of her grandchildren.

She leaves her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher Piti and Jocelyn Carter Piti; her daughter, Dana M. Barry; and her grandchildren, Christina and David Barry.

Her funeral will begin Monday, May 8 at 8:45am from the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Ss. Rose and Clement Church, Long St., Warwick. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon, from 2pm until 5pm in the funeral home.
