Carmella Maria (Nardolillo) McLean, 91, passed away Tuesday November 5, 2019. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Constantino and Vincenza (Parrillo) Nardolillo. She was the wife of the late Walter McLean. She was the beloved mother of five children; Clayton Mclean and his wife Lynn, Deborah Mercer and husband David, Carol Palombo and husband Mario, James McLean and Walter McLean and was a loving grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Carmella was one of thirteen children and is survived by John Nardolillo, Val Nardolillo, Irving Nardolillo, Anna Amalfitano, Thea Neri and was the sister of the late Constantino Nardolillo, Jr., Anthony Nardolillo, Nicholas Nardolillo, Francis Nardolillo, Joseph Nardolillo, Pauline McLean and Sandra Nardolillo. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Carmella was a laundry worker for many years at the former What Cheer Laundry and Louttit Laundry. She enjoyed her trips to the casino, especially playing the slots.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service and visitation Saturday at “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston from 9-10:30 a.m. with a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to VNAcareNewEngland.org
