Brian E. Young

Brian E. Young, 70, of Cranston, passed away, June 1, 2024, at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Franklin, MA, he was a son of the late Sheila Mary (Dow) and Edward Young.

Brian was a chef for over 50 years at various restaurants. After graduating from high school, he attended Bridgewater State College. Brian had a passion for cooking. He was an avid Celtics fan, enjoyed spending time with his family and enjoyed camping on the Cape.

He is survived by his sons Ryan W. Young and his wife Jennifer, Patrick J. Young, Quinton E. Young and the late Conor A. Young. Loving grandfather of Ryder William Young and Jack Joseph Young. Brother of Kathleen Remillard and the late Rose Mary Phillips.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 12 noon in “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston. Burial will be Private. VISITATION Saturday morning from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
