Bianca M. Uva (Zoglio), 100 years of a beautiful life entered into eternal peace on the morning of July 3, 2021, her devoted family by her side.
Wife of the late Americo Uva who passed too soon in April 1985, they made a happy memorable life for not only their children but for their family and friends. Bianca was a homemaker and professional seamstress by trade.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Silvia (Mignone) Zoglio.
Bianca, the mother of one son, Ralph (wife Debby) of Coventry, daughter Carol (the late Anthony J. Silva), and daughter Lorraine (husband James) of Johnston.
Her happiest moments were spent with her grandchildren, Jaclyn Vaccaro, (Roger Kenny) of NYC, Andrew Uva, Lisa Uva of Coventry, and her great-grandchildren, James and Dylan Kenny were the light of her life.
She was also the beloved sister of the late Rose Nerney, Carmela Greene, Joseph, Robert, Alfred, Romolo, Armando, and Orlando Zoglio.
Her family was so very important to her especially her nieces and nephews and all their children as well as her in-laws. She loved them and they loved her in return.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 9 at 9:30 AM from "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Robert Bellarmine, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston at 11:00 AM. Burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
Visitation Thursday, July 8 from 5 to 7 PM. Please respectfully omit flowers, memorial contributions to Hope Health Hospice and Palliative Care, Providence.
