Benjamin "Benji" Lorenzo Garcia

Benjamin "Benji" Lorenzo Garcia, age 59, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2024, at Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Born on July 10, 1964, in Rio Piedras Puerto Rico, “Benji” Garcia, was the beloved son of the late Dionisio Lorenzo Gonzalez and Carmen Lidia Garcia.

Benji is survived by his mother Lidia Garcia, his children; Benjamin, Alexsie, Eliel, Roberto, and Ashley—his siblings Roberto L. Garcia and Carlos Garcia and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Benji will be deeply missed and live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 7, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910. Following the memorial service, Benji will be laid to rest at North Burial Ground, 5 Branch Ave, Providence. alongside his beloved brother Emilio “Joe” Garcia who preceded him in death.
