Barbara F. (Giordano) Piccirilli

Barbara F. Piccirilli (Giordano), 85, passed away November 22, 2023, with her beloved family by her side. Barbara was a good-hearted, generous, loving woman who devoted her life to her children, family, and friends. She was the wife of the late Louis Piccirilli for 52 wonderful years.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Luisa (Angiolillo) and Giuseppe Giordano. Barbara owned Rosebud Hair Salon until she became a stay-at-home mom. Later she worked at Women and Infants Hospital for several years before retiring. Barbara loved to cook and knit and especially enjoyed the last 3 years with her puppy “Philly”.

Barbara leaves her children, daughter Chiara A. Piccirilli (David), son Louis J. Piccirilli (Tammy and her daughter Abby- Rose).  She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  She was a sister of Joseph Giordano and the late Ernest and Bruno Giordano, and Bessie (Giordano) Quaranto.

Her funeral will be held Monday, November 27, at 9:45 a.m., from the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling Hours Sunday 4 – 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
