Obituary

Barbara A. (Orabona) Francisco, 87, formerly of Jordan Ave., Cranston, passed away peacefully  Nov. 17, 2022 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre. She was the wife of the late Paul V. Francisco.

 

Born Aug. 10, 1935 in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Francesco “Frank” and Michelina “Maggie” (Carvisiglia) Orabona, and the sister of the late Louis Orabona and Louise Rosengren.

 

Barbara worked for more than 40 years at Torbot and was a former member of Cranston Senior Center and of Women’s Aglow.

 

She leaves her devoted daughter, Lori Mariorenzi of Cranston and her beloved grandsons, Daniel and Benjamin Mariorenzi.

 

Her funeral will begin at 8:45 Tuesday, Nov. 29, from the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, followed by a funeral service at 10am in Hope Church, 1114 Scituate Ave., Cranston. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, 4pm until 7pm in the funeral home.
