April Teresa Giacchi, 38, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, at Massachusetts General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
April was the loving granddaughter of the late, John and Teresa Giacchi.
She leaves behind a family who adored her: her mother, Lucille Giacchi; her sister, Tiffany DeRobbio, and her husband, Michael DeRobbio; and her cherished niece, Ava Chiodini. She is also survived by her best friends, Christina Diehl and Daniel Guedes, who were like family to her.
April will be deeply missed by her aunts and uncles, John and Michele Giacchi, Cheryl and William Henderson, and Sheila and Christopher Renzi; her cousins, Sherri Wheeler (John), Krystal Papa (Matt), Kayla Henderson (Allan), Brittney Henderson, (Alexis), C.J., Victoria, and Zane Renzi; as well as her nieces and nephews, Liliana and William Henderson, and Andrew, Austin, and Ashton Wheeler. She also leaves behind her beloved fur nieces and nephews, Abel, Olive, Scarlett, and Banks.
April was truly one of a kind. She had a beautiful spirit that could light up any room, and her smile had a way of brightening even the darkest days. She had a deep love for animals, especially her cats, and cared for them with all her heart. April was dedicated and hardworking, taking great pride in her job and the relationships she built with her Dunkin’ crew, who meant so much to her.
Above all else, April loved her family and friends fiercely and unconditionally. She will be remembered for her kindness, her warmth, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 10 from 9:00 am until 12:00 Noon in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 Noon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
