Antonio Conetta, Jr.

Antonio Conetta, Jr., 87, of Johnston, passed away at home with his family, June 20, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn (Caprioli) Conetta.

Born in Providence, Nov. 20, 1935, he was a son of the late Antonio and Antonetta (DiSpirito) Conetta.

In addition to his wife of 68 years, he leaves his son, Anthony (Christina) Conetta; his two daughters, Doreen Ann (fiancé Raymond Siedzik) Gelsomino and Joanne (Anthony) Alviti; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Mindy, Anthony, Anthony “Chucky”, Paul, Justin, Arianna and Ciarra; and his great-grandchildren, Dante, Olivia, Peyton, Allison, Paige, Luca, Premere, and Gabriella.

He was the father-in-law of the late Anthony Gelsomino, and the brother of the late Mario and Thomas Conetta, Adella Continelli and Rita Casale.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 23, at 10:00 AM in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with burial following at St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
