Antonetta Patricia (Paluso) Ferrante

Antonetta Patricia Paluso Ferrante, 82,  born in Providence June 13, 1941 passed away surrounded by her loving family Friday, October 6, 2023 at Hope Health Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was a daughter of the late Samuel and Augustina Paluso. She was the wife of the late Vincent Ferrante, Sr. 

Antonetta is survived by three children; Deborah Ann Vallante and husband Anthony Vallante, Vincent Ferrante, Jr. and wife Leslie Ferrante, and Maureen Ryan. She was the mother-in-law of the late Thomas Ryan. Beloved grandmother of Scott Mooney, Jr., Nicole Ryan, Nicole Vallante and the late Haley Ferrante and Great-Grandmother of Ashley Mooney, Tyler Mooney and Felicity Boccanfuso. She was the sister of Elaine Rizzo and the late Frances Traupman and Kathy Ventura.

Antonetta resided in the Silver Lake section of Providence for most of her life before she moved to Johnston. She worked as a CNA at RI Hospital before she retired in 1999.

Etta was small in stature, but had a huge heart that welcomed anyone into her home. She took much pride in helping others. She enjoyed her family and friends. Every one will miss our “Sassy” little “Shorty”.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Wednesday from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, followed by Committal Prayers at 11:30 a.m. in St. Ann Cemetery Chapel, Cranston.
