Antoine "Tony" Elkhoury

Antoine “Tony” Elkhoury, age 65, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Born in Lebanon, he was the beloved son of Amira Elkhoury and the late Kozhaya Elkhoury.

He was the devoted husband of Najibe Kanaan El Hachem. Tony was a loving and dedicated father to three children: Isaac Charbel Elkhoury, Claudette Antoine Elkhoury, and Jessica Marie Elkhoury. He was the cherished brother to Jack Elkhoury; Zakhia Elkhoury and his wife Yasmine Badr and their family; Rania Elkhoury; Therese and her husband Charbel Chedid and their children Nicole, Natalie, and Elie; Marleine widow of Tony Barakat and their children Nehmtallah and Rafca. Tony also  leaves behind his wife’s family: the late Kanaan El Hachem and his wife Afife Koussa; Trad and his wife Zifrin Salem and their family; Fadi and his wife Margo and their family; Tony and  his wife Rania Rayfouny and their family; Elias and his wife Ketty Eid and their family;  Mansour and his family; Mariam and her husband Kozhaya Awad and their family; and  Therese El Hachem. He also leaves behind the entirety of the Elkhoury Hanna family.  

Tony immigrated to the United States in the 1980s and helped many to immigrate here to begin their lives. He completed a Bachelor’s at the University of Toledo and a Master’s at the University of Rhode Island in civil engineering. He also had a successful career as a wedding videographer and enjoyed taking pictures of those he loved most. He loved to create memories through his pictures and videos for those to remember their happiest moments. He established meaningful relationships and connected with all those he met.  

He married his wife in 1997 and had three children in 1999, 2000, and 2003. Tony has played an important role in his children’s lives and encouraged them to never give up and always have an optimistic outlook on life. 

A visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 2, from 4pm until 7pm in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston. The funeral will be Saturday, Jan. 3, at 9:45am from the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home, followed by the Divine Liturgy at 11am in St. George Maronite Church, Cranston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
