MICCOLIS, SR, ANTHONY FRANK, 70, of Cranston passed away peacefully on February 5, 2020. He was the husband of Donna (Pastore) Miccolis for the past eight and a half years. Born on November 25, 1949, he was the son of the late Anthony Miccolis and Caroline (Squillante) Miccolis.
He is survived by his son, Anthony Frank Miccolis, Jr. and his wife Colleen along with their daughters Alison and Amanda. He was the brother to Carol Louise Miccolis-Bowers of Bristol and to his triplet sisters Joyce Joan Saudade and Janice Jean Lecky, and her husband Philip, both of West Warwick. Anthony is also survived by his step-children Raymond Silvestri and his wife Jennifer along with their sons Anthony and Angelo, as well as Sherri Silvestri-Stephenson and her husband Marcus and their sons Tyler and Mason. He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and friends, as well as his special friend, his devoted dog, Kiki.
Anthony was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. He was a proud graduate of East Providence High School in 1968 and went on to serve in the United States Army after graduation. He always enjoyed being in the kitchen and cooking meals having first learned his craft in Asquino's Restaurant. He later opened his own Italian restaurant, TJ and Son in East Providence, where he carried out his passion for fifteen years. He was later employed at Community Fruitland and most recently retired from Lowe's after sixteen years.
He always enjoyed being out in the sun and relaxing on the Caribbean beaches, especially Aruba. He will always be remembered for his kindness, friendliness, love of storytelling.
His funeral and visitation are on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 9:30 to 11:30am at "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm in St. Mary Church, Cranston. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of Anthony F.
