Anthony Lamantia, Sr.

Anthony Lamantia, Sr., 85, of Cranston and Johnston, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Palma (Cruso) Lamantia.

Born June 27, 1940, in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Domenica “Anna” (Greco) Lamantia.

He was the father of Anthony Lamantia, Jr. and his wife Christina, and the late John Lamantia; grandfather of Stephanie, Brittney, John, Cambria and Tianna; and the brother of Joseph Lamantia and David Lamantia.

His funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 4, at 9:15am from the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mark’s Church, Cranston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday morning, Dec. 4, from 8am until 9:15am in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home.
