Anna M. (Capezza) Pappas Soscia, 88, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother whose life was centered around her family.
She was the daughter of the late Alessio and Margaret (Melchirre) Capezza.
Anna dedicated herself fully as a stay-at-home mom, pouring her heart into raising and caring for her children. Her love, strength, and unwavering support created a foundation that will continue to guide her family for generations to come.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Soscia; her children, Linda DiMuccio, Stanley Pappas, and Peter Pappas; and was predeceased by her son, Alexander Pappas. Anna was a cherished grandmother to Kristen Pappas, Amanda Pappas, Alexander Pappas, Branden Pappas, Delorian Pappas, Peter Pappas Jr., and Madeline Sossio.
Anna will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to her family, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave so freely and the family she held so close.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
VISITATION will be held Monday, April 6, from 4:00 until 6:00 pm in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston. Her funeral will begin at 9:15 am Tuesday, April 7, at the Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Ave, Johnston. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
