Ann Stamas Obituary

Ann (DeNuccio) Stamas, 83, of Richmond, passed away December 24, 2024 at Brentwood Nursing Home. Born July 20, 1941, in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Annina (Volpe) DeNuccio. 

 

Ann owned and operated LeAnn Beauty Salon in Silver Lake for many years. She lived a life devoted to her family, and loved her grandchildren very dearly.  Ann enjoyed hosting holidays and cooking her large Italian meals for anyone walking through the door. She also enjoyed a good Poker game, the Casino, and pulling practical jokes. 

 

She leaves her daughter, Andrea “Andy” Morrell, her son and his wife, Lee and Rina Stamas, and her stepson, George Stamatakos; her brother and his wife, Louis and Janice DeNuccio; and her grandchildren, Lee, Dylan and Blake Stamas, and Mia Morrell. 

 

She was preceded in death by her brother Marco DeNuccio and her spouse, Anthony Boragine. 

 

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Monday, Dec. 30, from 12noon until 2pm in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, where a Celebration of Life will begin at 2pm. Burial will be private.
