Anita A. (Castaldi) DiCarlo

Anita A. DiCarlo (Castaldi), 100, passed away Friday December 8, 2023 at Hope Health Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Giovanna (Ianotta) Castaldi. She was the beloved wife of the late Emilio A. DiCarlo.

Anita was a seamstress, working at the former Sunbury Dress Company for 15 years before retiring in 1985. She was a dedicated homemaker, great cook and baker.

She was the mother of the late Anthony DiCarlo and sister of the late Eleanor Pilla, Julia Cirelli and Antonetta Corrente. She was loved and cherished by her nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Entombment will follow in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum, St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITATION from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at “WOODLAWN”.
