Angelina (Franco) Felino

On Friday, March 25, 2022 Angelina Felino died in the comfort of her home with her daughter Carol beside her. She was 98 years old. The daughter of Antonio and Antonetta Franco, she is survived by Barbara Carr, the only remaining of her six siblings.

In 1944 she married her best friend Francesco Felino and their marriage endured for 52 years until Frank died in 1996. Home life for the Felino family was about beauty and comfort. Her imaginative hand sewing embellished their home in so many ways. A source of pride in this home was an intricate cathedral quilt that she made for Carol.

Outside the home Angela completed many years of volunteer work in Providence schools. In the middle school setting she worked as a technical aide in the libraries. The lives of many students were eased by her compassionate attention.

She also opened her heart to any needy animal who passed her way, many of them becoming hers and Frank's personal pets.

Angela requested private services provided by the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home.
