Angela Manni Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Angela Dorothy (Petorelli) Manni of Cranston, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late George Manni.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Pennacchia) Petorelli.

Angela was a graduate of St. Xavier Academy. She worked as a bookkeeper for the former Penn TV and Furniture of Cranston and ran her husband’s construction business, Hilltop Builders.

Angela was known for her charitable works and involvement in the Roman Catholic community and the Pro-Life movement. In the 1970’s St. Ann Catholic Church sponsored a family of refugees from Vietnam. They became part of her family. She tirelessly volunteered obtaining housing, employment, and advocating for this family. She is to be commended for this work.

She leaves her children, Gregory Manni and his wife Lisa, Doreen Raulino and her husband Anthony, Kevin Manni, MaryAnn Manni, and Carole Rush and her husband William; and her grandchildren, Stephen, Kyle and William Rush, Raphael Diaz, and Joseph Raulino, all of whom she adored. She was the sister of Patricia McDonough, the late Adeline O’Gorman and the late Anna Gowen.

Angela's family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks for the loving care their mother received from HopeHealth, especially Noelly, the staff of West Shore Health Care Center and to her at home care team. You are all angels.

Angela was wonderful Mother, Grandmother and friend to all.

Following Angela’s expressed wishes, visitation is omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, Jan. 11, at 10:00 AM in St. George Church, 1493 Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will be private.

Donations in her memory to a charity that is most meaningful to you are greatly appreciated.
