Alda Campanelli-Damiani Obituary

Alda G. (Andreozzi) Campanelli-Damiani, 86, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Wife of Martin Campanelli and the late Angelo Damiani and mother of the late Gina Vespia.

She was born in Providence, RI on October 28, 1934, to the late Rocco and Jennie (Rampino) Andreozzi. She is survived by her two sons, Angelo Damiani III, and his wife, Kathleen and Richard Damiani, and his wife, Cheryl.

She is survived by two of her six siblings, Rocco Andreozzi Jr. and Anthony Andreozzi. Additionally, she is survived by her son-in-law, Stephen Vespia, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Alda worked 22 years as a Home Interior Consultant. During this time, she won numerous awards for top sales. She raised three children. Alda loved the beach, loved to shop, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a fabulous cook and was famous for her Monday night dinners. Alda lived a full life and will be missed deeply by all whose lives she blessed, especially her family. She believed in family values and taught the importance of them to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had a deep love for her savior Jesus Christ and went daily to church.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, October 2 at 10 AM in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, 1804 Avenue, Johnston, RI. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Street, Jude, PL Memphis, TN 38105.
