Albert B. Watt, 95, of Cranston, beloved husband of the late Flora Watt for 57 years, passed away on May 10, 2023 at Steere House, Providence, surrounded by family.
Born in Providence, Mr, Watt graduated from the University of Rhode Island, received his Juris Doctorate from Boston University, and masters’ degrees from both New York University and the Judge Advocacy program at the University of Virginia. A lawyer for over 60 years, he loved the study of law and took great pride in his chosen profession. His other passions were chess, enjoying both playing and reading about the strategy of the game, and music.
He is survived by his two beloved daughters Lisa Ardente and her husband Paul, and Alison Biondi and her husband Elio. He enjoyed spending time with his seven grandchildren, Alexander, Nathaniel, Zachary and Lily Ardente, Madeleine, Annabelle and Maxwell Biondi and his three great grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Redwood Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery in Providence, with military honors and burial to follow. Visitation is respectfully omitted.
