Albert Paolantonio "AL Pal" 98, of Barrington, RI, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 3, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents Fortunato and Domenica (DeLuca) Paolantonio, his brothers Alfonse and Anthony and sisters Jessie Santa and Theresa Buco.
He was a graduate of Massanutten Military Academy. While at the Academy, he participated in various sports and played trumpet in the Swing Band. His favorite duty was waking his fellow Cadets with the prestigious role of playing Reveille. Upon graduating, Albert proceeded to join the family business (Colonial Knife Company) and continued his career there as Vice President until his retirement.
Albert was an avid golfer and lifelong member of Metacomet Country Club. He also had the fortunate opportunity to Marshal a PGA Tournament with headliners Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Lee Trevino.
He had a great sense of humor, a passion for cooking, entertaining and a zest for life. He will be deeply missed.
Albert is survived by his companion, Jeanne Bourdeau, his four children and their spouses; Brenda Chianese (John), Barry Paolantonio (Georgette), Doreen Tirocchi (Bob) and Lori Hickey (Bill), five grandchildren; John Caletri (Jen), Andrea Dayotas (Pete), Caley Hickey, Jaclyn Tirocchi, Nicholas Hickey (Caitlin) and 3 great grandchildren; Brooks, Jack and Madison.
Services were private with burial at St. Francis Cemetery
