Albert P. Micheletti

Albert P. Micheletti, 92, of Barrington, passed away peacefully at home on Friday December 2,2022 surrounded by his 5 children.  He was the devoted and loving husband of the late Maria (DiMarzio) Micheletti.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Paulo and Maria Grazia (Turchetta) Micheletti.

Albert started his career at Sambo’s in Fall River MA alongside his mother and brothers. He was the owner of Micheletti’s Restaurant of Warren and of The Castle Restaurant in Bristol. Albert was also a consultant and manager of various country clubs in Rhode Island and MA. His greatest joy was to be surrounded by his family. He shared his love and passion for cooking by creating delicacies in the kitchen for his family, friends and neighbors.  No one was ever hungry after enjoying one of his meals. Albert loved to tell stories and you always knew when he appreciated  a good joke by his signature laugh. He also loved listening to music and dancing with the love of his life, Maria, whom he greatly missed after her passing in January.

He is survived by his loving children, Dominee Mello and husband Herman, Paula DeSisto and husband Joseph, Albert P. Micheletti, Jr., Mark Micheletti and wife Tina, and Anthony Micheletti and wife Lucia. He was the cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He leaves one brother, John Micheletti, and was the brother of the late Rose D’Amato, Anthony  Micheletti, Helen Cretella, Frances Iodice, Vincent Micheletti and Paul Micheletti.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation Monday, December 5, from 8:30am until 10am at “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Luke Church, Barrington. Burial will follow at North Burial Ground, Bristol.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Luke’s Church, 108 Washington Rd., Barrington, RI 02806.
