Thomas J. Gibbons, Jr.

GIBBONS, THOMAS J. 56, of Providence passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2019.  Born in Worcester, MA, Tom was the devoted son of the late Thomas J. Gibbons and Catherine A. Gibbons (Donahue) and brother to Carol Hathaway (Gibbons) of East Greenwich.  He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy and attended the University of Rhode Island.  Tom found comfort in cooking, gardening, walking the beach and caring for animals.  He loved his faithful companions - Misty, Sophie and Puppycat.  His laughter and kindness was felt by his family, friends and neighbors.  Tom is survived by his sister, three nieces, a nephew, several aunts and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from noon to 1p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, RI, followed by a private burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Please share condolences at WoodlawnGattone.com.
