Marilyn S. Guertin

Marilyn S. Guertin, 57, of Johnston passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Leo E. and Rita (Vivier) Guertin.  Marilyn is survived by her siblings; Beverly Martin, Linda Mignacca, George Guertin, Gloria Simoneau, Laura Paquette and Richard Guertin. She was the loving companion of David Hawkins. Marilyn also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by step-mother Eileen Paquette-Guertin.

Marilyn was employed at Dunkin Donuts until 5 months ago, where she had many friends. She was a kind-hearted person who loved being with her family, enjoyed spending time with her companion David, especially driving all around town with him.  She was an avid Red Sox fan and a cat lover.

Her funeral and visitation will be held Tuesday, August 27th from 9:15-10:15 a.m. at “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Thomas Church 65 Fruit Hill Avenue Providence.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
