Helen F. (Sullivan) Kelly

Helen F. (Sullivan) Kelly, 100, of East Greenwich, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully September 29, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Home, East Greenwich. Born in Newport, a daughter of the late Patrick and Nora (Brennan) Sullivan. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Kelly, they were married June 5, 1944, moved to Cranston and raised three boys.

Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and sister. She followed all sports especially when her sons were involved. She was the beloved mother of Kevin F. Kelly and his wife Cynthia and the late Brian J. Kelly and late wife Mary Kelly and the late Lt. Michael F. Kelly (USN). Loving  grandmother of Sean Kelly and his wife Sarah, Erin Kelly, Caitlin Kelly-Golsorkhi and her husband Teymour and Michael Kelly. Loving great-grandmother of Gavin Kelly, Braeden Kelly and Darius-Michael Golsorkhi.  She was the sister of the late Patrick Sullivan, Lawrence Sullivan, William Sullivan, John Sullivan, James Sullivan and Mary Thompson.

Her funeral and visitation  is Friday October 4, 2019 at 9 a.m. from ‘’WOODLAWN’’ Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mark Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to LaSalle Academy 612 Academy Ave. Providence, R.I. 02908  in memory  of Lt. Michael F.
