Ettore Santurri J. “Eddie” , 85 years old of Greenwood Nursing Center has passed away quietly. He served during the Korean War as a United States Veteran in the Department of the Navy from 1952-1955 in Cuba and Africa among other locations. He was the son of the late Romeo Santurri and Maria (Gatta) Santurri. He leaves behind his wife Pauline G. (Ancona) Santurri of 64 years, the love of his life, and five cherished children, and eleven grandchildren. They are: Lori & (Chris) Lake of Cranston RI, Robert & (Lisa) Santurri of Whitinsville, MA, Paul Santurri of Hope, RI, David & (Diane) Santurri of Cranston, RI and John &(Michelle) Santurri of Cranston, RI He also cherished eleven grandchildren they are; Tiana Santurri, Scott Santurri, Zachary Lake, Thomas Santurri, Matthew Santurri, Jason Lake, Lauren Santurri, Jessica Santurri, Michael Santurri, Nicholas Santurri and Mia Santurri. All whom put the twinkle in his eye. He was the brother of Anthony Santurri Sr. and the late Romeo Santurri.
Ettore “Eddie” , was a long term parishioner of St. Bartholomew’s Church and more recently St. Mark’s Church in Cranston. He lived by on moral, treat others the way you’d want them to treat you. Family was everything to him.
His funeral is Friday at 8:45 a.m. from ‘’WOODLAWN’’ Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, Cranston.
